Broken Glass Projections creates projection mapping, custom event visuals, and professional interior and exterior uplighting for clients throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We work with cities, businesses, museums, churches, nonprofits, event venues, and private homeowners to create visual experiences built around the space and the event.
Projection mapping is a visual technique that uses projectors and custom-designed video to make a building, wall, object, or architectural surface appear to change, move, or come to life. Instead of simply displaying a rectangular image, the visuals are created to fit the actual shape and features of the surface.
Projection mapping can transform buildings, walls, architectural features, and other surfaces into custom visual displays. It can be used indoors or outdoors for public events, corporate gatherings, museums, churches, historic buildings, fundraisers, festivals, product launches, Halloween and holiday displays, weddings, private parties, and other special events.
Instead of projecting video onto a traditional rectangular screen, the content is designed around the actual building, wall, architectural feature, or other surface. Windows, columns, arches, entrances, and other details can become part of the visual experience. Projects can range from focused indoor installations to large exterior architectural projections, depending on the location, audience, and goals of the event.
Uplighting uses strategically placed lights to wash walls, columns, architectural features, tents, and other surfaces with color. It can quickly change the atmosphere of a room or outdoor space and can be used on its own or alongside projection mapping and other event visuals.
Broken Glass Projections offers professional wireless uplighting in a wide range of colors for weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, holidays, private parties, public events, venues, and architectural lighting. Colors can be selected to complement the event, highlight specific features of the space, or create a completely different look after dark.
TV and video displays give guests a clear way to view event videos, photo slideshows, sponsor graphics, presentations, schedules, announcements, and other visual content. They can be used as a standalone display or incorporated into a larger event setup alongside projection mapping, lighting, or audio.
Freestanding displays are useful for corporate events, fundraisers, weddings, memorials, private parties, museums, community events, and other occasions where visual information or media needs to be easy for guests to see.
PA systems and microphones are available for events that need sound or announcements. DJ services are also available for select events, subject to availability. These services can be combined with projection mapping, uplighting, and video displays when needed.
Every event and every space is different. We can combine projection, lighting, video, and sound to build an approach that fits the location, audience, and budget. From a large public building to a private home decorated for a holiday party, the goal is the same: create something people will notice and remember.
If you have an event, building, venue, or idea you would like to talk about, get in touch. We’d be happy to hear what you have in mind.
